This makeup look was created by MAC Cosmetics makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury who was inspired by the makeup of "French actresses… Dominique Sanda… Carole Bouquet…very expensive and ultra luxe.”

Here's backstage peeks at the Chloe makeup:

To create this modern soft smokey eye Cream Colour Base in Air Force Blue was first applied to the eye lids. Next, Black Paint Stick was mixed with the Cream Colour Base and blended into the crease of the lids-then the same mix was applied onto the lower lash line and blended. Finally, Black Pro Lash Mascara was applied at the roots of the lashes.

This look with dark purple lips is from the Peter Som Fall 2010 Runway. Peter Som is just one of many designers to show goth style makeup for fall 2010 and winter 2011.

Here's the MAC Cosmetics face chart for this look:

This makeup look was created by MAC Cosmetics makeup artist Tom Pecheux who describes this look as,“...Uptown girl meets Woodstock, a shimmery golden eye to contradict the deep, dark purple lip."

The lips were created using a Lip Pencil in Currant – the pencil was lined around the natural shape of the mouth, for perfect lip definition .

Then Lipstick in Kittenish was applied all over the lip with a MAC 242 Brush .

Finally, Mineralize Eye Shadow Duo in My Dark Magic was lightly applied over the lipstick with the fingertips.

I love wearing my white blazer with a skinny pant-the looser jacket paired with the tighter pant makes for a perfect balanced look. Eyebrows are so important-a properly shaped eyebrow can lift the look of the face making for a brighter, youthful look. Eyebrows that are too low or too close together give the face an older worn appearance. To get a good basic eyebrow shape a visit to a professional esthetician for a brow shaping is worth it. If you've over-tweezed or have bare spots in your brows, don't panic, you can use eyeshadow to fill them in nicely. Remember to keep eyebrows one or two shades darker than your hair color for a natural look.

Cosmetics Makeup Lip Color Long Lasting Lip Stain CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain

My latest makeup discovery...

is this CoverGirl lipstain lip color!

Yes, I've recently discovered this CoverGirl Outlast lipstain. Love using this lip stain because it lasts a long time and it's handy to apply. I've always been a fan of a little lip pencil and a light touch of lipstick and that's about it, but I'd spend a lot of time sharpening the pencils and they always broke off or ran out at the wrong moment. This lip stain gives pretty much the same result as a pencil but it's always ready to use-never needs sharpening. I apply it with a light touch around the perimeter of my lips, rub my lips together to spread it out a bit and I have a natural look that lasts unless I'm eating. I have to reapply after I eat probably because I applied it lightly in the first place. This comes in lots of colors-the one I use is Cinnamon Smile 445. This is a very neutral shade, so it goes with everything-especially my skin tone which is fair. I found this at Target for $7.89.
