Yes, Rachel Comey was thinking outside of the box when she designed this beautiful Pegasus clog--it's the first winged clog I've ever seen! I just love Rachel Comey's shoe designs--so many of them have a little design twist!

I just love this beautiful suede leather shoe--it has a four inch wooden sole with a one inch platform, an elastic strap at the back, and partial rubber soles. The design is such that it will be flattering to the ankle and leg! These come in bone and red--wouldn't the red be perfect for the holidays! I found these at solestruck.com.

The messy side swept bang is one of the hottest hairstyle trends! It's the type of bang which just about anyone can wear--it's soft looking and can be a bit sexy.

The easiest way to style a side-swept bang is with a round brush and the hairdryer. Be sure to apply a hair mousse of some type before drying it. After it's dry and shaped a bit, lightly back comb it, smooth it over, and give it a quick spray with hairspray to hold it in place.

Belts of all types from wide to very narrow are hot right now! A knotted belt is especially hot and can give a lift to an otherwise ho-hum look!

There are really no rules for creating the knot--you just need a long belt so you have enough to loop over. Play with it a little bit and you'll find a way to knot it that looks good and is easy to create!

Fashion Design Trends Tweed Plaid & Check Jackets & Skirts Fall Winter 2011 2012 Picture

Tweeds and plaids and checks and other woolens were what it was all about at the 3rd Annual Tweed Run, a cycling event that took place in New York City last Saturday. This event is described as a “metropolitan bicycle ride with a bit of style!” Ralph Lauren sponsored this year's event which encourages participants to wear English cycling gear for the ride through city streets.

The streets were filled with riders wearing all manner of chic English style riding garb--the pictures show the downright beauty of lovely woolen jackets, pants, and skirts!

The Tweed Run originated in London and has spread throughout the world.

I spotted this look online and just had to post it! I love how she's wearing nude ankle socks with her ankle boots--it looks incredibly chic, if you ask me, and is another way to wear boots and heels in fall and winter when something besides a bare foot is called for!

Another bare leg option is to match the socks to the boot or heel--this looks very chic also! You can pull this off with ankle socks or with taller socks scrunched down!
