I know it seems like quite a while till winter and it's had to think about warm clothes when it's ninety degrees out, but now's the time to order those pieces you'll be needing in November!

So in the spirit of trying to keep ahead of the shopping game--and maybe even in the game, I decided to post this gorgeous Tory Burch Beckett Coat! Isn't this a stunning double breasted coat--I especially love the fur shawl collar. This coat is available for pre-order to be shipped out by 9/15.

I absolutely love the bucket shape of this bag and the gorgeous pebbled black leather! This is the J.Crew Brompton bucket bag--the perfect go-to bag for about town shopping.

This bag measures 10 1/4"High x 10 1/2"Wide x 3 1/2"Deep--not too large and not too small and it has a removable, adjustable shoulder strap that extends to 22inches! I love the turnlock closure and the large zipper compartment as well as the numerous inside pockets! This bag comes in three colors--the henna color is crafted of classic leather and the warm burgundy and true black is made of pebbled leather. This bag is definitely on my wishlist for fall!

Yes, I'm been doing some online window shopping for pullover sweaters at Anthropologie. I just love Anthropologie's styling--their online catalog is especially fun to browse through!

I happened upon these two sweaters and I love these layered looks. Hot for fall and winter are crocheted sweaters and almost any floral piece!

If you're looking for something crocheted this cropped purple crocheted sweater is a perfect choice and great for layering. For a business look, this sweater can take the place of a jacket over a solid color top--I can see this over a black turtleneck top with a nice black trouser! There are a thousand ways this little sweater can be styled for casual and business. For an evening look wear this sweater over a filmy purple blouse with billowy sleeves and a pencil skirt!

The flowered pullover is another versatile piece--easy to dress up or down! I love how this floral pullover is layered over the striped top--perfect for a casual look with denim jeans!

Yes, it's another post about Kate Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge--and, as I've just admitted to myself and as you've probably already figured out--I'm thoroughly smitten with the Duchess! So there you have it, she is definitely on my radar, so you'll probably be seeing a post about her here every once in a while! (I hope you're smitten too!)

I'm loving this military inspired look worn by the Duchess a couple weeks ago when visiting riot torn Birmingham with Prince William. This look has a somber but chic vibe appropriate for meeting with the families of three men who were killed in the riots.

This military themed look is from the Pre-Fall Alexander McQueen collection for 2011. The blue pencil skirt is topped by an off-white blouse replete with gold epaulets. Kate worn navy blue suede Prada court shoes and nude hose.

Here's the look in Alexander McQueen's Collection:

The OPI new nail polish collection for fall and winter calledTouring America is out! This nail color collection is inspired by a recent trip across the country by OPI's artistic director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann’s

“Autumn is a time for reinvention," Suzi Weiss-Fischmann explains, "and these shades revive classic, iconic colors for fall, from cool heather, khaki and chocolate to warm rose, peach and red."

Women's Fashion Design Discovering Your Unique Style 2011

Now this lady has style! This lady is writer Alice Carey--I discovered Alice at Advanced Style and just had to share her design philosophy with you!

Alice has a unique style of dressing which she calls her uniform! In summer you'll find her wearing a basic outfit of black chinos and a white blouse and in winter she'll be wearing shooting pants and a cashmere sweater! Of course Alice embellishes these basic looks to make them super chic!

Alice developed her design philosophy over time--her sense of style was influenced by chic Park Avenue ladies for whom young Alice's mother worked. Alice's style was also influenced by Twiggy and other models in the 1960s. Today she says she wears what she looks fabulous in--cashmere sweaters and men's jackets.

A book by Arlene Frances entitled The Secrets of Charm also influenced Alice's style!

Women's Fashion Design Trends Pleated Maxi & Knee Length Full Skirts 2011

Women's Fashion Design Trends Pleated Maxi & Knee Length Full Skirts 2011 Picture
[Image: Madewell]

Pleats have pretty much taken over the world of skirts--these include loose pleats which are more like gathers and the more severe razor pleats. Full pleated knee length skirts and long pleated maxi skirts are two skirt styles which are super hot for fall and winter.

The knee length full skirt is a retro style for sure, popular in the 70s. Choose a full skirt that is just knee length or a little below the knee. Wear a full skirt with a fitted top and belted at the waist--strappy ankle-strap flats or heels look fabulous with a knee length full skirt as does an ankle boot.

The long pleated maxi is also a retro 70s style. I like a maxi to hit just above the ankle--this leaves a safe distance between heels and the bottom of the skirt--it's so easy to get tangled up and trip! I also like the look of a little shorter maxi. Wear a maxi skirt with a fitted top and a little cropped jacket for a chic look.

The two skirts pictured here are by Madewell. You can see their lookbook for fall here.
