I just love this short pixie style haircut--the boy crop pixie is the hottest hair trend for short hair this summer! Many celebrities are saying farewell to the longer looks and hello to the low-maintenance and fresh looking short pixie hairdo.

The close boy cropped haircut can be worn by just about everyone no matter what your shape face--just by styling the bangs to suit your face shape you can make it work for you. There are tons of variations on this style-for example, a super short and shiny pixie worn close to the head can look very glam, while a choppy, spiky style of pixie can have an edgy, rocker look!

Colored denim jeans are a hot fashion trend this summer with celebrities and fashionistas alike! Aren't Cameron Diaz and Alexa Chung hot in their colorful denim! Cameron Diaz works here jeans for both a dressier and a casual look--for the dressier look she's paired her jeans with a tee and blazer, and for her more casual look she paired a sleeveless tee with her colored jeans.

Jeans in colors are nothing new, but colored denim--especially skinny jeans in colors have become so hot that they've become a fashion necessity, a must-have for summer.

The key to wearing colored jeans is to keep your look simple--think in terms of color blocking--keep it simple and clean looking!

I especially love red skinny jeans which are perfect paired with a black top and little black sandals and a black bag.

Jennifer Aniston was spotted in New York Friday wearing these so-very-chic Michael Kors' ankle cuff stilettos. I just love these shoes on her! Her top is Calvin Klein and her skirt Tom Ford.

Here's a nice selection of ankle cuff stilettos. Remember that this ankle cuff style of shoe tends to shorten the look of the leg. This effect is reduced with a higher heel and you can lessen this effect even more by wearing a color to match your skin or by showing more leg at the top.

Skincare Makeup Organic Moisturizer Skin Treatment Argan Oil 2011

I'm so excited about sharing my latest and absolutely best beauty product discovery ever--it's Moroccan Argan oil--and, as you can tell, I love it! I've been using this oil on my face, arms, legs, and hands for the last couple months and have seen amazing results.

The specific oil I've been using is the Josie Maran 100% Pure Organic Argan Oil. This super light oil is from the nut of the Argan tree which grows in Morocco--this oil has no smell that I can detect, so it's perfect for daily use! Josie Maran, a former super model, brought this incredible moisturizer and skin treatment to the market--I saw Josie Maran present her Argan oil on QVC and I decided I'd give it a try.

I use this oil before bed on my freshly cleansed face and in the morning mixed with my daily moisturizer before I put on my makeup. At night I leave my face a little wet when applying the oil-I use just two drops of oil--applying the oil to wet skin seems to super hydrate it. In the morning I put a small dab of moisturizer in my palm, I add just two drops of the Argan oil and I mix it together and then I apply it to my face and neck.

The results I've seen are incredible--the dry patchy skin on my face is gone and my face is soft and hydrated. Surprisingly, my oily t-zone is less oily--my skin has never looked or felt so good!

This oil is super light so it's easily absorbed and not oily, and it's rich in anti-oxidants, vitamin E, and essential fatty acids to nourish the skin. I use this on my arms and legs and hands--I massage it into my cuticle area--for amazing results.

I bought the 1.7 oz bottle--it comes in a dark bottle to protect the oil from the light--the bottle has a medicine bottle type dropper so it's easy to dispense! If you buy this at Sephora it's $48 for this size--I bought it here on ebay for $36.95 with free shipping. .

There are other brands of Argan oil--some much cheaper-but most of what I've found are not 100% pure Argan oil--they're a mixture of Argan oil and other oils. Eden Allure makes what looks like a 100% Pure Moroccan Argan Oil--I have not tried this.

With the 4th of July just around the corner I've pulled together this pretty little red, white and blue 4th of July outfit--perfect to wear to that barbeque we'll be attending!

Isn't the striped Anthropologie top fabulous--the stripes radiating out from the shoulder seem to scream celebrate! The shorts are from Ruche--the high-waisted pleated style is a favorite of mine! The red espadrille wedges are also from Ruche--love the little sexy ankle strap! The Michael Kors' cobalt leather clutch bag is from Net-A-Porter. This bag has a detachable cross-body strap which I love!

I don't mean to panic you about what you'll be wearing--a pretty look for the 4th can easily be pulled together from most any closet--leave the denim cut-offs for another time and instead wear white shorts, pants or a white skirt--after all, it's a special holiday! Pair the white with a red or navy top and a little red, white or navy sandal--mix it up for a true red, white and blue look!

Today's fashion essential, Wayfarer classic 2140 sunglasses by Ray-Ban, were designed by Raymond Stegeman and first manufactured in 1952. Along with the Ray-Ban aviators the Wayfarer is the best selling sunglasses' design ever!

New plastic molding techniques in the early '50s made the Wayfarer's trapezoidal frame design possible and the Wayfarer became a mid-century classic!

Having a decidedly masculine look it seems surprising that this style has become so popular with women. Audrey Hepburn helped popularize the classic Wayfarer with women after she appeared in them looking ultra-feminine in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Hepburn set off a 1960's fashion craze--everyone was wearing Wayfarers!

Wayfarers have been hot on and off with Madonna popularizing them again when she wore them in 1985 in Desperately Seeking Susan. The last decade has been hot for Wayfarers with many new colors and styles. For a classic chic look the original classic Ray-Ban 2140 Wayfarer in black is the way to go!

Today I'm loving this long suede skirt from Alice & Olivia! Yes, I know it's June, but the fall clothes are starting to come in and this is he time to snatch-up basics like this long suede skirt before they're sold out.

If you're a suede lover, as I am, you'll want to have a long suede skirt in your fall wardrobe--this skirt is lamb's leather so I imagine it's super soft. This particular skirt is a bit flared which I love--a little more room to move is always welcome. And it looks like it buttons down the front--it also has a back zipper for on and off.

I love this skirt as shown with the black peplum long sleeve tee, but this skirt could be worn in lots of other ways including with a bulky knit sweater for a weekend look and with a blazer for a fabulous professional look.

And, of course, wear your long suede skirt with knee-high leather boots for a super hot look!

The smokey smoldering eyeshadow look is hot for summer 2011. This look is from Etro's Spring 2011 Runway with a bright purple smokey eye.

The dark gray smokey eye has been around for a number of years now with variations being in size and darkness with a lighter gray eye being the most recent trend. The latest, newest looks in the smokey eye is the use of brighter, lighter real colors--purples, greens, blues, pinks, yellows, and others.

Here's the face chart for the makeup look at Etro Spring 2011 with dramatic smokey eyes which was created by Charlotte Tilbury for MAC Cosmetics.

To create the smokey eye MAC PRO Rich Purple and Pure White Paintsticks were mixed and blended around the eyes up to the brows then Stars N’ Rockets eyeshadow was applied over the paintsticks.

The lipstick is MAC Shy Girl Cremesheen.
