Have you played with color blocking in your wardrobe? If you haven't it's time to give it a try and you may just discover you've been color blocking without even knowing it!

Color blocking is wearing two to four solid colors together in large blocks that are opposite on the color wheel or closely related like royal blue and purple or green and yellow as in the look pictured above. Click here for information on how to use colors together.

I just love the colors in the above look--this look, styled by Gary Pepper Vintage, is a beautiful example of color blocking! Green is one of my favorite colors to use for color blocking color schemes--all shades of green work together as do the mint green top and shoes and the forest green blazer in this look. The yellow skirt contrasts with the green to create a dramatic color blocking effect.

Lucky you! I love gap teeth, but don't have one.
Last summer I was talking to a woman in a parking lot in Malibu. She had a fabulous pickup truck and I was asking about it. When I got home I saw a picture of her in a magazine on the coffee table and realized that I had just been talking with Lauren Hutton. Funny, I didn't notice the gap while talking to her.
