Here's some awesome snaps of handbags being carried at fashion week! I love seeing the bags carried by fashion insiders who probably have a choice of almost any designer bag available. These pictures give us an idea about what's really trending in fashion.
I'm seeing so many snakeskin embossed bags being carried at fashion week--and, yes, snakeskin, especially python is super popular in bags--the color and pattern go with just about everything!
Another handbag trend I'm seeing at fashion week is the envelope bag--the envelope bag is popular in all sizes and colors! I especially like an envelope bag in a solid color--some of the bright colors we're seeing in leather now are fabulous in an envelope style!
Leopard print bags in every imaginable style are also hot with fashion week insiders. Leopard print can be worn with just about any solid color--I don't like leopard print and florals used together as we see in the photo.
Bags with bright geometric and floral patterns are everywhere at fashion week--and often they don't seem to go with the look they're being worn with. I would advise carrying a bag that somehow relates back to the color or vibe of whatever is worn. I'm more comfortable seeing a geometric or floral pattern garment worn with a solid color bag!
