Today I'm loving these maxi skirt looks with a definite bohemian vibe! I do love wearing long skirts for summer. Mid-calf or ankle length skirts are my favorite-I don't like the floor-length skirts and dresses that have become popular--I don't like the look of the floor-length skirt and I don't like the idea of my skirt dragging on the ground!
Here are some nice options for putting together a long skirt look. I especially like the maxi skirt with the black strappy sandals-a strappy shoe is perfect to wear with a long skirt--you can wear a strappy flat or heel--both can look equally chic--a wedge heel is my favorite but sometimes a flat is just more practical! And, of course, boots always work with a long skirt!
And be sure to try a floppy hat-I'm not a hat person myself, but a floppy hat is so cool with a long skirt for a boho look. They'll be tons of floppy straw hats in lots of colors for summer--the straw hat may be a better option than a felt hat for those of us who are not so much into hats. I know there's a black floppy straw hat in my future!
