Women's Fashion Trends Minimalist Designs Stella McCartney Spring Summer 2011
One of the hot trends for spring...
a feminine minimalism in fashion!
Every fashion season see trends that seem to be diametrically opposed and the spring summer 2011 season is no different. Along with the brightly patterned more highly styled pieces for spring we'll be seeing monochromatic designs-pieces with simple, clean lines-best described as minimalistic.
Stella McCartney presented a collection with a new more feminine minimalistic look in Paris at the Spring/Summer 2011 fashion shows. Although much of her collection was clearly menswear inspired her pieces had a softness to them while keeping some masculine details-wide lapels and masculine collars for example. I particularly like the pieces pictured here featuring the high cut of the sleeveless blazers, simple sexy mid-calf length dresses with super deep thigh-high slits, blazer suits with wide leg trousers-some with long jackets, and filmy see-through long dresses.
