Isn't this a dream storage unit for shoes! I've tried just about every option for shoes but none seems to work-either shoes are squished and get damaged or they're disorganized! I also really hate it when I can't see what I have which is what I have going on now in my closet with so many pairs of shoes in boxes! The fabulous piece pictured here, which seems to me to be the perfect shoe storage unit was built by the husband of Jane Keltner de Valle of Teen Vogue.
Geri Hirsch of Because I'm Addicted (where I discovered this unit) suggested this shelving unit as a good substitute for a handmade unit and it does look good to me. I'm off to Ikea to check this out!

The link to the Ikea product is broken. Do you happen to know the name of the Ikea product?
I don't know the name of the product--it's probably discontinued. I did checkout the Ikea site and saw a couple units that would probably work.
