the new OPI Texas Collection for 2011!
OPI has turned to the Great State of Texas for inspiration for one of OPI's spring and summer nail color collections madeup of both bright and neutral shades. The names of the colors are insanely clever as they always are! Here are the names with a short color description of each:
Don’t Mess With OPI - A lean, mean, kick-grass forest green
Austin-Tatious Turquoise – Cowgirls love this bodacious blue-green
It’s Totally Fort-Worth It – A shimmery lavender grey that’s so so worthy of you
Do You Think I’m Tex-y? - A “berry” sexy bloom of Dallas dahlia
Big Hair…Big Nails – A rosy pageant peach
I Vant To Be A-Lone Star – You won’t want to share this starry Texas-sky blue
Houston We Have A Purple – A galactic red-violet that’s ready to “rocket-roll”
Suzi Loves Cowboys – But she loves this campfire chocolate shade s’more!
San Tan-tonio - A "Honey" of a Ten Gallon tan!
Too Hot Pink To Hold ‘Em – A red-hot pink-red that deals a winning hand
Guy Meets Gal-veston – An “engaging” coastal coral. A very orange pink
Y’all Come Back Ya Hear? – This Texas tangerine will be waitin’ for ya!
Lot's of spring polish colors here for sure! Many of these shades look cool to wear with the bold colors and patterns we'll be seeing in spring fashion and key in wearing the highly contrasting colors that will be so hot for spring. Bright, striking nail color will be an important fashion element as will tans and grays and other light wispy more neutral nail colors to go with the lighter, more transparent fabrics we'll be seeing! For fun summer polish colors the pinks and purple in this collection look fabulous as does the turquoise. This collection will be available at the beginning of February at salons and stores that carry OPI.
