Isn't this a pretty cotton and leather tote bag! This is the Day In The Country Tote by Anthropologie. The body of this bag is cotton and the trim and straps are leather. I just love classic black and white, so this bag really caught my eye. With these colors this bag can be used for all seasons! Perfect in winter to brighten up a black outfit and perfect in summer with white trousers! One reviewer calls this bag stunningly gorgeous and another says it's stylish, sturdy and functional! This is a large bag for sure-it measures 16.5"H by 16"W by 1.5"D so it'll hold a lot! I discovered this bag at Anthropologie-this tote is going on my wish list!

If you love suede as much as I do you understand why I had to post these images taken during Fashion Week in Paris! Isn't this suede skirt look fabulous-a play of textures between the jacket, bag, and skirt makes for a classic chicness only achieved with leather! And isn't the color of the suede rich-love this color and suede in general! There's nothing I like better than a suede coat or jacket in the fall before it gets too cold! My favorite suede pieces, however, are a suede vest and skirt. Both of these pieces can be worn from fall to early spring and they're versatile pieces in a wardrobe. A suede vest worn with skinny jeans or a nice pleated trouser can take a look to the next level!
One caveat with suede is to buy the best suede you can afford. Inexpensive suede looks inexpensive and, more importantly, it's stiff and won't lay or hang right-so buy the best, you won't be sorry, good suede pieces last for years and years!

Reviewers love the creamy texture of this product, the intensity of the colors and the convenience of the lip pencil shape. Colors include: Blossomy Nude, Barely Nude, Nudey Nude, Mulberry Nude, Barely Nude, Berry Nude, Rosey Nude and Pinky Nude. The latest hot shade is the Rosey Nude-a classic deep-red lip color. Some shades have a slight shimmer to them which I love! You can find these lip crayons for $7.99 each at Target.com and at some Target stores. I love a bargain so I'll be giving this product a try!

Yes, denim is hotter than ever in pants, shirts and jackets! I think the denim trend is always and forever with us because of the versatility of the pieces. Denim comes in so many colors and finishes that working it into any wardrobe is relatively easy-as easy as pulling off a chic look with denim. Denim can work to create a menswear, bohemian, vintage, or western vibe-it naturally looks easy and not overdone! A few good Levi's type denim pieces-jeans, shirts, jackets and vests scattered throughout a wardrobe can greatly increase the looks we can create.

Here we see a menswear look with a hint of a bohemian vibe. This look is styled with a long skirt-or are those loose pants, a denim shirt and a boyfriend blazer. Shoes and hat give emphasis to the menswear vibe being projected! The pants and braided hair are a bit bohemian!

Today I thought I'd share these over-the-knee crochet pattern socks that I just discovered at Ruche. These are the Kawaii crochet over the knee socks. A fashion basic for sure but so hot on the fashion scene right now! I was excited to find this crochet pattern in so many colors- navy, brown, burgundy, black, ivory, blue, teal, oatmeal, charcoal gray, and burnt orange! Coordinate these colors with sweaters, blazers and blouses-for instance, a burnt orange sweater, black wool shorts and orange or black over-the-knee socks would work for a hot look! These over-the-knee-socks work with skirts and shorts and with boots of all heights from ankle boots to over-the-knee boots!

With the holiday season beginning this week I thought I'd post this holiday coat look. Isn't this belted holiday coat beautiful! If you're like me you spend a lot of time pulling together the perfect outfit for a holiday party and then just throw on any coat that remotely matches! It's really not too difficult to pull together a better holiday coat look! A long belted coat can be so elegant for the holidays and this velvet coat is especially elegant isn't it! But you don't need a velvet coat to pull off an elegant look-just take your basic long black or off-white coat or whatever color you have, and add a pretty belt and strappy heels or a hot boot and you'll look great! When you get to your destination slip off the belt, roll it up and put it in your coat pocket until you're ready to leave!

This product may be just what I need-my poor lips are feeling dry already and it isn't even winter yet. This lip treatment comes in six subtle tints so it should be easy to find a color I like!

I'm absolutely in love with the look of this little metallic jacket! This type of jacket could be called a shrug or a bolero-but I'm wondering if a shrug is typically a little shorter. In any case, this looks like the perfect little jacket to wear with that little black dress or most any party or evening dress. Love the metallic color for some added pizazz and the fact that it will go with almost everything! I also love the shawl collar which gives this jacket a little extra style! You could wear this jacket over a nice long sleeved tee with skinny jeans and boots for a hip look! This is another versatile piece! I discovered this cool bolero jacket at Anthropologie.

Belts of all sorts are hot right now! I'm particularly loving a look with a belted jacket like this one. The belt thrown on over this jacket gives this jacket a totally pulled together vibe-perfect for everyday professional looks and casual looks alike! I'm not so crazy over this jacket worn with the jeans-I'd rather see this belted jacket with a nice pair of trousers, but, in any case, it's a hot look. A jacket like this worn with a belt is the perfect layering piece over a long sleeved turtleneck or a white blouse. So very versatile-a fashion basic for sure!
