Pictured here is the makeup find for this week-bright jeweltone eyeshadow colors from the spring 2011 runway. If this catches on it'll take me awhile to warm up to so much brightness! I'm definitely a fan of muted eyeshadow colors especially metallics. These opaque bright colors seem shocking to me, but like many other trends, after we see this bright eyeshadow worn a lot, it won't seem so bright to us. And, yes, it will probably work its way one way or another into our looks.

I ran across this image and just had to post it! Isn't this scarf look fabulous-the blue blouse worn with basic black and accessorized with a blue patterned silk scarf. What an easy approach this is to wearing colorful patterned scarves! If you're like me you have a drawer full of scarves and you're just not sure how to wear them! Well here's our answer-it seems obvious and easy to coordinate our colors-to add a punch of color to a solid color outfit and accessorize it with a scarf--it just takes some planning and doing to pull it off! Orange lips were seen on the spring 2011 runways of Marc by Marc Jacobs (shown here), Jill Stuart, Isaac Mizrahi, Lela Rose, Luca Luca and many more! If you're not hot on orange lipstick yourself don't be put off-orange comes in so many shades that finding the perfect shade for yourself won't be impossible. Orange comes in pure bright orange shades and orange shades with lots of red, coral, peach, plum, gold, and brown. As always, when a color is hot the makeup counter will be awash in it!

Love, love, love this jumbo all-in-one eye shadow, eyeliner pencil in Milk by NYX Cosmetics. After looking for a long time for the perfect product to lighten up the area just below the eyebrow-I finally found this creamy eye shadow pencil. I lightly pencil on a bit just below the brow and smudge it with my finger to get the very slight lightening, brightening effect I'm looking for. I can't see the whiteness but I see the lightening effect which makes the eyebrows pop and seems to lift and brighten my eyes! I found this beauty product at ULTA.
