this chic look with yellow tiered ruffles!

This woman, whose image I discovered at O Alfaiate Lisboeta, has really pulled together a chic look with the color yellow and ruffles, which, in my opinion, is hard to do for a mature woman (anyone over thirty). This look is all about the balance of opposites-the yin and the yang-the juxtaposition of the very light and feminine ruffled dress contrasted against the heavy, over-sized sunglasses, the dark slicked-back hair and the chunky necklace.

What I love about these sandals are the fabulous reviews they've received at Zappos. Almost all of the reviewers say the Helen sandal is super comfortable! Reviewers love the arch support in these sandals-and if you need arch support you know how hard support is to find in sandals! These shoes come in a leather or nubuck upper depending on what color and finish you want. The color of the sandals pictured is called "Off White" and this sandal comes in tons of other colors-including patent. So if you find that these are what your feet need you can get a little dressier look!

Benefits Makeup Hoola-a natural looking bronzing powder!

If you're like me you're beginning to feel as if you need some summer makeup. Although I wear sunscreen I seem to be getting a bit of a splotchy tan-I think I need a bit of a bronzing powder to even it up. Since Benefit makes super makeup I thought I'd see what they had and I happened upon this Hoola bronzing powder. Reviewers raves have me excited about this bronzing powder-this sounds like what I'm looking for! They say that it's matte and, although it looks dark in the tray, it isn't. The report is that it's natural looking so I think I'll give it a try. I found this bronzing powder at Sephora.
