Punk hairstyles are still and always in...

as we saw at the Armani Fall 2010 Runway Show!

Yes, punk is here to stay as far as hairstyles go. These hairstyle looks from Emporio Armani remind us of that! I love a bit of edginess but I'm probably not getting a punk haircut any time soon. On these models it looks to me that the look was accomplished by pulling back the models hair and putting the bowl type cut on top. In real life this would be undercut haircut.

Aren't these boots pretty! Wouldn't these be fabulous for early spring when we still have very chilly mornings but warm afternoons! This is the Portia boot by Sam Edelman. This boot has distressed toes and heels for that already worn look! Love the ankle boot height and the fact that it's a pull-on style! This comes in a saddle brown and black also, but I just love this sand color!

The clog is definitely in for spring and summer! I'm loving the looks of this Abbie UGG clog! Love, love, love this clog's three inch heel-yes, this clog has a kitten heel! And isn't the wood platform and heel cool! These shoes have leather uppers and a cushioned footbed covered in lambskin at the heel and sheepskin at the forefoot. The Chocolate color clog is pictured and it comes in five more colors including some suede. This shoe looks so easy to wear!

Yes, there's a hot new shoe trend for spring 2010-it's the kitten heel! These looks are from the Spring 2010 Runway. As you can see, a kitten heel is a low heel-anywhere from about one to four inches. I for one am cheering this shoe style! I love kitten heels for their feminine look and, yes, for their comfort. Won't these heels be pretty with rolled up trousers, shorts, and dresses for spring and summer! And I'm so happy there will be more to choose from in shoe departments-not just those super high heels!

Using the Pantone Fashion Colors for Spring 2010...


I've created my own customized eyeshadow palette!

Yes, MAC Cosmetics has customizable eye shadow color palettes-they have 4 pan, 6 pan, and 15 pan color palettes. I chose the four pan palette and picked my colors based on the Pantone Color Forecast for 2010. Pantone forecasts the colors for each season and it's those colors we see in fashion and furnishings in the upcoming season. The color of the year for 2010 is turquoise-when you're out shopping notice all the turquoise in stores-you'll be amazed! I love turquoise, so this makes me very happy! When you go to MAC Cosmetics you'll find a fun interactive eye shadow color chooser which makes it easy to choose your colors! Using the Pantone colors as a guide, I chose Aquadisiac, Swimming, Pink Venus and Trax. I love earthy, muted, dusty colors so these eye shadow shades drew me in!

Yes, denim is hot, hot, hot! Here are looks from the Stella McCartney and D&G Spring Fashion Shows for 2010. Denim this time around looks well-worn and comfortable as it usually does. Denim skirts are long and short and button down the front-we've seen this before! Denim jeans are cuffed and low cut and brown belts and boots seem to be the perfect denim accessories!
