If I'm looking for fashion inspiration I always gravitate toward a French designer. The French have a way with chic! They've mastered timeless looks-looks which never seem contrived! An easy elegance the rest of us have a hard time accomplishing! Less seems to be more in French chic! Key to chic are classic good-fitting pieces with just a dash of trendy thrown in! Looks are generally more monochromatic than we're used to! Most important to creating a French chic look is confident sexiness which French women seem to exude.
Cotélac is a clothing brand by French designer Raphaelle Cavalli with over forty boutiques throughout the world. The collection can best be described as slightly vintage with a bohemian twist. Fabrics are light and airy with neutral tones dominating.

Long maxi dresses are so hot for summer! These dresses are feminine and romantic, cool and airy, they cover a lot of sins, and a maxi dress is easy to throw on for an afternoon out! Best of all, these dresses offer an easy pulled-together look on a warm summer day! Longer-floor length and shorter-ankle length versions of the maxi are both popular. I happen to love wearing the ankle length dress. I don't like a floor-length dress dragging the ground or causing me to trip!
What to wear with a maxi? Some cool choices would be a large straw hat or a pretty head scarf tied like a headband, oversized sunglasses, large hoop or chandelier earrings, chunky summery bangles, long necklaces, pretty sandals or flip-flops, and a large straw bag!
It's going to be hot here today in California-I think I'll go throw on a cool maxi!

Bangs are the hot hairstyle trend! There are lots of ways to wear bangs depending on your hair type and hair length. Right now, I'm loving these layered, piecey slightly messy looks with bangs. A good layered cut is key to these looks. A good cut will give texture and a bit of fullness to the hair! A good hair mousse or glue worked into damp hair will hold the fullness throughout the day. For drab hair, highlights might be the answer! Highlighting is fabulous with layered cuts.

I'm loving this silk chiffon blousson top dress! This is the Alice Dress in Sherezade Vine Orange. Isn't the orange print gorgeous! This piece can be dressed up or dressed down. For a dinner out wear this dress with a long necklace, dangly earrings, and a strappy sandal, and to do lunch, put this on over a simple linen pant or legging with little flats! I'm sure you could come up with many more ways to wear this dress depending on what you have in your wardrobe!
